Oh geez, ok so it's been a month. My apologizes...what have I been up to? Let's see....
Pregnancy- today I am 11 1/2 weeks into this pregnancy. Haha I still can't believe God has blessed us with three children in three years! I can't wait to have another child that God will ask us to guide towards Him and shield them from evil. A few have asked me which would I prefer? Girl or boy? My answer is first and foremost, as long as he/she is healthy, I'll be happy...secretively, girl, girl girl! I just think it'll be too cute to have girl, boy, girl...BUT if God knows that our family needs another boy to guide towards vocation of priesthood or father, I'll still be very excited and happy. We find this pregnancy truly is a blessings since we know of couples who have been told of the difficulties of getting pregnant AND the opposite of couples who have not found trust in the Lord to follow the Catholic teaching of NFP, instead resorting to believe the hype of contraceptives.
BumbleBee and T the Tiger- Well Bumblebee has learned how to sing...and by sing, I mean she has learned her range of saying "Dadddddddddddyyyyyyyyyyyy" while going up and down the scale. Meanwhile T has cut his two bottle front teeth, so now he enjoys chomping on everything, especially Mommy's phone. T also learned how to stand up in his crib...which meant that Daddy had the fun job of putting down his bed. AND T learned how to crawl around...which means Grandma Patti will need to super baby-proof her house before we go to Fargo for Easter.
Ministry- Well the White Rose Waltz, purity ball for High School girls and their fathers, went AMAZING! We had 25 father-daughter couples at the event this past Saturday. It was a long process of 6 months to get this together, but it went off beautifully...and a lot of thanks to Mrs. E Kodet who was there helping me push each step of the way. Confirmation Summit was two weekends ago, and that was GREAT as well. It was our make up day long retreat for 9th and 10th grade students; we had 15 youth throughout the day which was a beautiful site to see, especially at reconciliation, as students who hadn't gone in "forever" were able to gather the courage of the Holy Spirit to guide them to the confessional. New projects ahead include: fundraising for mission trips, 30 Hr. Faminine for Haiti, family nights, young adult ministry, ooooooooooooooohhhhhhh and the pro-life ministry I'm trying to help guide.
Marriage- On a beautiful side note, Preston and I celebrated our anniversary on Monday. We went to our favorite restaraunt in St. Cloud, Anton's, while our children were watched by Uncle Texas and soon to be Auntie Texas at St. Ben's. It was very nice to spend time together and reflect on the past and pray for the future!
House Hunting- Last very exciting news, we have a signed purchase agreement! That being said, if we like what the inspector says on Monday, we will be buying our 1st house!! It has 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a GREAT back yard, and close to SuperHubby's work! Whoohoo! More news soon, and pics too!
congratulations on your new home, and anniversary! :)
