Weekend of craziness

Relaxing...calm... restful... all were antonyms of this weekend... While most weekends are supposed to be restful and relaxing, this weekend was more like stressful and restless. On Friday morning, we took Teigan to the doctors for a full exam for his horrible temerpature, lack of apetite, and restless night. Mommy and Daddy split horrible duties, and Daddy took Teigan for blood tests and Mommy got the fun of holding down her baby as the nurse drilled a catheter for a urine sample that came out empty.
Altogether, not a fun experience, but Bella was a trooper and at 13 months-old, we can already see her sensetive, nurturing side as she tried to stop her brother from crying by her attempts to share her bottle with him. Adorable, my children are adorable! After multiple blood drawings, urine samples, and just exhausting hours at the doctors, we found that Teigan was suffering his first infection... the doctor promptly gave him and antibiotic shot and sent us home for a weekend of restless sleep.
A weekend of Bella running around and holding Teigan non-stop... it was nice being home and just being with my family. Bella continues to get stronger and more firm in her footing as she quickly stands and walks with pride towards her Daddy or Mommy. Meanwhile Teigan continues to gain weight and height, and loves to smile at his mommy! I enjoy every minute with my two little ones... tomorrow's outing: the library children's reading group!!
Here are those pics!
